Dr. Larry Cain wins Jefferson Award

At the Fall 1999 Convocation, the many years of selfless commitment by Dr. Cain to Davidson College were recognized when he received one of the highest honors that the College bestows, the Thomas Jefferson Award. 

Dean Clark Ross stated that "Without seeking attention or affirmation, he provides a clear example of all that we cherish: a commitment to rigorous undergraduate teaching, an unquestioned personal integrity and candor, and an unwavering service to College, to church and to community." All of you who read this newsletter know that Dr. Cain is well deserving of this honor.
