Welcome to the main web page for the Spring 2000 NCS-AAPT meeting to be held March 17-18 at Davidson College.

The featured speakers will be Tom Greenslade who will speak Friday evening on "Learning from the Past: The American 19th Century Physics Course" and Arnold Arons, who will speak Saturday on “Teaching energy concepts in introductory physics courses”.

There will also be a special session at this meeting on innovative curricular development projects in the Carolinas.  

Note: the tentative Pasco workshop has been cancelled. In its place will be a workshop on Nuclear Science Techniques by Dr. Randolph Peterson of the University of the South. Go to the Workshops page for more information.
