These pages were created during my senior year at Davidson College, Fall 1999 - Spring 2000.  During this time I have been living in the "senior apartments" down the hill at one corner of the campus.  After living in dorms for five years, it is nice to have a kitchen, a bathroom with just one toilet (no stalls!), a shower that doesn't hard-boil me whenever somebody flushes a toilet...  Ah, the little things.

The apartment that I live in has four bedrooms, so I have three roommates.  We've all been friends since freshman year, and we have all lived with at least one of the other three in the dorms, so it worked out well.  That's not to say I won't leap at a chance to have a place to myself, though!  Sadly, next year I probably won't be able to afford a place by myself...  However, if I'm back in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area next year, my best friend Tony and I will probably get a place together.  We've known each other for the last decade, and in high school we basically DID live together, so I know that would work out well...  But, I'm getting ahead of my life.

We do a pretty good job of entertaining ourselves in our living room.  Sometimes, we even manage to get a little work done in there, too.  When there is real work to do, or I just want to sit alone and contemplate my navel, I can always retreat to my postage-stamp sized room.  We all have a haven...
