The Setup page is where the user configures the simulation before running and resembles the following:
By choosing a shape from the button bar and dragging it onto the palette, the user customizes the programs configuration. Shapes can be drawn as either rectangles, ellipses, or centered ellipses. Once drawn, a shape can be moved around the palette by dragging it. It can also be modified by right-clicking on it and invoking the Shape Inspector. The Shape Inspector allows the user to modify the size, shape, location, and temperature distribution of the shape. This includes the ability to write polar or rectangular functions for the shapes temperature distribution. When writing these functions, remember that the origin is represented by the center of the shape and the angle theta (t) extends counterclockwise from the positive x-axis.
