Workshops

 

 

Friday Evening:    Nina Morley Daye and Chuck Britton will present a PTRA make and take session for high school teachers after the evening talk and following a brief sojourn at the reception.  Tentative time: 9:00 to10:30.  Cost: $2.00 (included in high school teacher registration).

 

 

Saturday afternoon: We will host three workshops. Note that all our computers and therefore all of the workshops are Windows-based (Windows NT).

 

  1. Physlets, led by Wolfgang Christian and Mario Belloni; limit 16.  See http://webphysics.davidson.edu/physletprob/default.html for more details on the types of curricular materials to be presented.  Cost: $5.00

 

  1. Nuclear Science workshop led by Randolph Peterson; limit 10 Cost $2.00

 

 

  1. Physics in Music for high school teachers led by Dan Boye; limit 10. Cost: $3.00
